Slendertone Flex Go Abdominal Muscle Toner
Amazon.com Product Description Strengthen, tone, and firm your ab muscles with the Slendertone Flex Go abdominal toning system. Portable and easy to use, the Flex Go includes a high-quality toning belt, a set of gel pads, three AAA batteries, and a detailed instruction manual that walks you through two different toning programs for maximum results. The Flex Go is easy to use: simply strap on the toning belt and adhere the gel pads to the skin. The system will then employ medical-grade muscle stimulation technology to simultaneously work all of your abdominal muscles while you walk to the store or sit in an office chair. Signals from the belt will travel to your nerves by way of the gel pads, causing the muscles to relax and contract for an effective yet comfortable abdominal workout. The system has been clinically proven to firm and tone the abdominal area, increase abdominal strength, and improve abdominal endurance, making it a handy all-in-one training tool. The belt fits easily underneath your clothing, allowing you to use it anytime, anywhere. The gel pads, meanwhile, don't stick to your skin, don't require messy gel, and are latex-free. The result is a valuable abdominal trainer that lets you get the slender, toned midsection you want without interrupting your busy lifestyle. It's even small enough to excel while traveling. The Flex Go--which fits waists from 24 to 47 inches--carries a one-year warranty.

Happy User January 30, 2010 L. Tyndall Definately could feel the slendertone belt working. It made my muscles contract as it cycled through the program. The direcetions for the program were confusing. However, this was not a major problem.
Great Product! January 27, 2010 Stanley 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
As crazy as this sounds, it uses electric waves that travel through your abdominal system. Yes, basically it shocks you but the ending results are amazing and it really doesn't hurt. It feels like a tingling sensation, it's pretty cool. Im 15 and I just got this item in the mail the other day. Had no doubts about it and its a great piece of technology. I reccomend this to everyone who wants to get great abbs in a short amount of time!
Gel pads are useless! January 26, 2010 Disappointed in MA (West Roxbury, MA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received the Slendertone Flex Go in December 2009 and began to use it consistently the week of December 21st. In three weeks, it stopped working, so I changed the batteries, but to no avail. I just got off the phone with customer service, who tells me that the gel pads must be replaced every 20-30 sessions!!! So every month you're shelling out at least $10 (package of three for $29.99) for a product I'm not sure even works. I'm done with this nonsense.
Works! January 7, 2010 Ali M. 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After 4 weeks, I am definitely flatter, feel tighter, and my jeans fit better. This is not a weight loss mechanism, you still need to incorporate cardio to see real results. I do 4-5 cardio sessions a week and the combination of that and the belt has given me results. I have been doing cardio for years now and the belt has helped to tone my stomach in ways I couldn't doing crunches, etc on my own. Again, It tones some of the fat on your stomach, but the majority will remain without diet and exercise. I recommend this product for helping to strengthen the core and motivate further exercise!
A Nice Little Buzz, that's about it December 26, 2009 David Satinoff (Queens, NY) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Expectations are everything. I expected to feel my muscles contracting. They do not. Instead what you feel is a buzzing intermittently in the abdominal area. Whether that is the way the device is supposed to work, that over time this causes muscles to tighten, I don't know, but I didn't want to take a chance so I returned it. Amazon's return policy and mechanism is unmatched. I also didn't like the way it is used, having to stick it to your bare skin. I have found that I can tighten abs standing up or sitting down just by manually contracting the muslces, or, standing and squatting with arms outstretched. If doing this really gives a strong feeling of tightening, I couldn't see this thing working. I didn't see anything written that says this is just the way it is supposed to work and whether it takes a period of time to show an effect. I also know that you really can't get a "sixpack" of abs if you don't alter your diet, and if you do what I do, which is typically eat carbs late at night, it ain't gonna happen most likely.
